Not for designers. The vertical force when you click create a moment on the base of the mouse getting an imprecise click.Within minutes I was hooked! Really thought the look was interesting and hoped I would get used to the fit. I did!! This is the best mouse ever!Very cool gaming mouse. Fascinated with the neon-like lights and ergonomic form. It has even more functionality for completing a perfect gaming exerience.Absolutely the best mouse I have ever owned. I have nothing else to say.At these prices you should own one anyway. Not financial advice.Once I started using this mouse I realized I won't ever go back to regular mouse!++Update:The website is back up and I was able to get the software for the C-18 on my windows virtual machine. It now works as expected! The keys are remapped and the side color lights are changeable.I was using a larger vertical mouse previously and liked it but was wondering if a smaller mouse would be easier to use. Zelotes C-18 is about 75% or so size of my previous mouse, in height and width.I have a MAC with a windows virtual machine. The mouse is quite comfortable to grip, though the previous / next buttons on the left hand side is a bit further away from where my thumb would comfortably rest, so I would have to stretch my hand out a bit to click it.The other buttons are fine and don't pose any problems.I was hoping to be able to customize the mapping and lights but the driver software I downloaded is for c-15 and doesn't seem to do anything to change settings for the c-18.The website is down and currently is not available as of Feb. 3rd 2021, so I don't know if I got the wrong software or not. There is a mini CD that comes with the mouse but sadly, we don't have any machines with a CD drive anymore so I can't access the information there.I will try to contact Zelotes and see if they have a solution for this.As is though, on the MAC, the browser navigation buttons don't work - it seems to only work for Windows unless you install an app such as SensibleSideButtons. The lights are stuck on the default as well. The joystick is mapped to WSAD.I will update the rating / review after contacting the company about the software.Overall hardware is ok, software seems to be problematic / missingNever tried a mouse that has a different angle, and different way of use considering years of using regular mouse or ball scrolled mouse. This was new and interesting to experience with, I have found that having many additional buttons, directional stick (a thumb joystick) and weight balanced on the middle perfectly, and the different angle as how your hand sits on it.It was an highly positive experience except couple of things to consider.PROS:Smooth to move, easy to scroll, joystick placed on a perfect spot, very strategical, very comfortable and fulfills your palm, after using for hours, had no complains, pain or ache or weird feeling during use as well, great quality material, well made, seems and feels durable,True to DPI,Does run on glass surface without any issues,Great for developers and designers for sureCons:The reaction times from the joystick may flaw,I am not sure how can you manage game with this with some reaction time latency (slight but you can notice overtime on FPS) so i would consider this for gaming,Can't see any warranty or company contact information or product registrationSo I initially thought the little joystick on top was what controlled the mouse, and it stayed stationary otherwise. Apparently, that's not right. Instead, it functions like a regular mouse and needs to be moved around on the desktop, but with your hand in a strange position, and the joystick on top only corresponds to WASD on your keyboard. I couldn't get used to it. I get that it's for gaming, but it feels weird. If you're using a mouse, then you have a keyboard in front of you and a solid WASD on the keyboard feels much more natural than using a thumbstick on the same hand that you're also controlling the look/camera with.If you're unable to use your left hand for some reason, this might be a way to get back in the game, but otherwise it just feels strange and seems mostly unnecessary. Still, it's made well and everything works the way it should, so I'll call it four stars. As some others have said, don't buy this specifically for the thumbstick - it works but it's a tertiary feature. What the mouse definitely does provide is great ergonomics and decent DPI, programmable buttons at a low price....plus RGB if you care about that. I've used vertical mice before for gaming but this is both the best ergonomic design and the only one I've found with decent, settable DPI for a small price. Solid recommend.got this mainly for the joystick, its bound to the usual WASD and spacebar but using it requires you to use the thumb which is the only finger bracing that side of the mouse so bad foresight there. let alone i was hoping to rebind it to other keys which is seemingly difficult and had no luck thusfar.one more issue is you cant move the stick in corner to get diagonal movement so, where i assume its intended to be used instead of keyboard for movement in games, its infact worse as you can not move diagonally which is a huge disadvantage, so as a result i say this product is NOT FOR GAMERS.I am an 19 year old male with normal sized hands and when I hold this mouse I cant seem to hold it with my pinky finger on the mouse it is always rubbing the table like in the photo of the man holding the mouse also when I hold the mouse correctly my thumb can not comfortably hold the joystick or the side buttons I recommend you buy a mouse that has a hand size chart so that you don't make the mistake I did. but other than the size problem it is a reasonably high quality mouse and well built does not feel cheap at allAs describedgreat mouse,
