There's not a lot to say about a cable obviously. The general build quality feels pretty good to me. I don't think any pins will miss and break off or anything like that. The wire is quite thick, so I don't think it will crimp or break easily either. I believe the X52 uses all of the pins, so I think that this does also mean this is a full proper cable without any wires missing or anything. (I could be mistaken.)Bear in mind this is male-to-male. This won't work as, say, an extension cord. For PS/2 use, as others have said, it's pretty much for things like a KVM. Modern ones may need to use USB instead. For the X52 it fits tight and doesn't fall out though, so I can definitely say it works well there. Bear in mind it's a bit long. That may be a good thing if one actually wants to mount the two parts, but if they're close together you may have to roll it up and zip-tie it or something and it will stick out a bit obviously. (Sadly it's hard to find a really short male-to-male PS/2 cable that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.) I think most X52 users will be pretty happy with this.
